Our first release has landed. Futuristic neo-prog, razor-sharp tech house, heavy progressive rollers, percussive acid workouts, dreamy breaks and UK rave nostalgia: It’s all here, colliding on a VA that explores the space between sounds and provides a glimpse of things to come.

100% of the profits go directly to Transgender Europe and Mermaids, two organisations doing essential work supporting and advocating for trans and non-binary youth in Europe and the UK.

The trans community has been fundamental to dance music culture and in the struggle for rights that all LGBTQ+ people who are able to live with a degree of freedom hold today. And yet, they are arguably the most vulnerable part of our community, and face increasingly unprecedented levels of discrimination, bullying, violence, exclusionary laws and inadequate legal protections, or the dismantling of current ones. It’s not good enough. We all owe the trans community our unwavering love, gratitude, respect and support.

A recent study by Charité in Berlin focusing on transgender youth aged 12 to 18 revealed that half of the participants reported experiences of bullying, self-harm, or suicidal ideation. Anxiety disorders, depression, and eating disorders were also more prevalent among this group. In the UK, those numbers are even higher. Last year, the government there released school’s guidance advising teachers that they can block students from socially transitioning at school, misgender students, and “out” any child’s transgender status to their caregivers. What kind of situation is this for any young people to be growing up in?

The high-profile deaths of teenagers Nex Benedict and Brianna Ghey were the starting point for this compilation and bring this question into sharp focus. Young trans people are tough. But they often have limited access to community and support and not enough is being done to safeguard their rights or ensure their safety and wellbeing. That’s why organisations like Transgender Europe and Mermaids are essential, and why 100% of the profits from this release go directly to supporting their work. All artists contributed their tracks for free.

We stand in solidarity with all trans and non-binary youth worldwide and hope to send a message with this project: you are not alone.
